Her In Black And White Poem by Randy McClave

Her In Black And White

I see her in black and white
A poem for her I then did write
She was a book I read, my soul was fed
The poem to her I then did recite.

Between heaven and hell I have stood
I see her as my only good,
And there she was, my one true love
To survive with her I know I could.

She is standing alone on the sand
I am reaching desperately for her hand,
Her color is gone, like the fading dawn
But, as one we will now stand.

My soul she had temptingly fed
She is the book, that I haven't read,
But, is it just dream, her eyes did gleam
My life is held by a thread.

I see her in the starless night
I see her in the light,
The dark is my soul, which she will control
As she stands in black and white.
