He Carried On A Weedin... Poem by The Muse

He Carried On A Weedin...

Rating: 5.0

He sat on the pavement a weedin
Plucking them all out one by one
No chance for you
You're not the real thing
You aren't of the superior breed
You don't belong here
Off you go
How dare you think
Here is ok for you to grow?

He chucked them all out one by one
He tried them
He tested them
Planted them one by one
Never a remorse
Never forlorn

He watched them grow
He watched them sprout
Never a consolation
Never a shout
You will fend for yourself
You will take yourself out

Perhaps he never did care
All along it was for but a dare
This love he won't ever be needin
He just carried on a weedin
