Hazy Memories Poem by Donatien Moisdon

Hazy Memories

Grey skeletons of trees, grey countryside,
crows' acidic and painful cries,
shiny, flooded meadows.

I should, contemplating such naked expanses,
feel nothing but sadness cloaking a heavy heart;
so, why the sense of peace and elation?
