Hawaii Island, a volcano awaiting time,

A dancing Pacific ocean dream

Waves splashing on the surf

A hula skirt moving to the song's rhyme

In palm trees grow deep

In moonlight, the sky stars glow.

In love with the beach

Sand makes for a great run

Land of the sugar cane

A smiling face of the dancers

Native freedom to live and let live

Dreaming of Hawaii is to live

All this in the golden sun

A volcano awaiting its time
