Green Earth Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Green Earth

If the earth is, you are
And the earth if bereft of greenery,
Hills, mountains, woods,
Rivers, vales and dales, you are not,
You are not if the earth seems to be gasping for breath,
A cemented housing urban and industrial space
Where heat does it havoc
With climate change, health hazards, pollutionand eco-disbalance,
You are if the earth is, the earth is green
And its spaces green and wild and mountainous
Full of rain and shower, mist and fog,
Can you exist without fresh Nature
Always refreshing with seasonal change?
save, save you green earth,
Save you from devastation,
Let the flowers, flowers bloom,
Let, let you come the spring.
