Got A Gun Poem by Dorsey Baker

Got A Gun

It ain't nothing new
Under the sun
The outlaw
And the sheriff
They both
Got a gun
When they meet
Might be
Some blood
In the street

You will hear the shots
But you cannot
See the bullets
As they fly
It's one of them days
When somebody
Is going to die!

Dorsey, this is a well-crafted poem that is so sadly true! Thanks for sharing this.
