Ghetto Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Ghetto

Ghetto

Aiming for Seattle,
Am not sure,
Will get there?

Recalling a bad year,
And the talk of murder,
Suspicion invaded,
On both sides of the border,
Canada's with the neighbor.

I returned, suspended:
"Stay out for five years! "

Being my character,
I spoke with a friend,
About the attractions.

Here is what one said:
"I visit the ghettos,
Study the villains',
Greed, misbehaviors."

I, too, will do the same,
Ghettos teach us lessons.

I shall look much further,
To compare the peoples.

You will not know people,
Unless you know them well,
Each corner, all the angles.

Will visit the market,
Will climb the tower,
Will dine at a tavern.

But will it take place?
Is that day forgotten?

Yankees act like the crows,
They love to take revenge!
