Get From Mires Of Moorings Free Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Get From Mires Of Moorings Free

If love's painful be from that love free,
‘I'm the fulcrum'— be from such fads free.
You can't cross this nor ever can that,
Break from such rules, be from restraints free.
Eyes get robbed by dazzles of dream malls,
From glitters of such sparkle get free.
With fears of golden deer go croc tears,
That be so, be from such notions free.
Those that meet, feelings oft on sleeves wear,
Be from phoney formalities free.
Relaxed free when last could ye meet ‘you'?
Get form mires of mundane moorings free.

Free translation (in anapaest metre)of a Gujarati poem by Mahendra Joshi, titled mukta thai jā. Poem's transliteration follows:
hoy pīđā premmān to premmānthi mukta thai jā,
sarva no ādhār hun ae vhem mānthi mukta thau jā.
hoy olangi javānun to ye olangi shake nā,
ā niśheđho ā niyam ā nem mānthi mukta thai jā.
svapnani jhalhal bajāre ānkh to lunţāi bese,
ae chalaktun hem ho to hem mānthi mukta thai jā.
Shāh-mŗg no bhaya jīve ćhe tyān magarnān ānsuo ćhe,
dakhalo jo em ćhe to tem mānthi mukta thai jā.
lāgaņī paheri niyamsar lok to malatā rahećhe,
rojni pađa-pūćha mānthi kśhem mānthi mukta thai jā.
tun tane phurasad ne ćhānye kyān kadi pāmi shakyo ćhe?
ćhođ bādhā ākhađīā rahem mānthi mukta thai jā.

Yes freedom is the key. Man moves with layers of unnecessary baggage, mires of mundane moorings, this Ghazal asks man to discard all this and embrace freedom. Thank yo Edward Louis for visiting this poem.
