Wish I could weave a garland
With the flowers of the night
And tie it in your long hair when
You come to meet me as the light
Of the evening slowly diminishes
Across the valley where we stay
To watch the moon rising in the sky
In the bed of green grasses we do lay
We will kiss and make love
With dew drops falling on us
And at the break of dawn to watch us
Bees and butterflies will make a rush
