Free From My Father Poem by Breanna Verkon

Free From My Father

I have happiness in me
Soon I will be free
You will no longer restrict me
You will no longer control me
I'm getting out, I'm moving on
You have lost, I have won
In two weeks I will be gone
Seventeen will set me free
From your horrible hostility
You have left marks and scars
But ill leave them on mars
On my way to never-ending afar
Not a victim of you,
I am a survivor of you
