I asked the Sun if we could ever meet
And help me feel complete
He answerednot with a long discourse
The message was as strange as Morse
For he was quiet and never replied
It was harsh and cold as ice
However hard I tried
I left cause I saw no point
He was more addictive than even joint
Then one day he stopped to shine
It was strange to see him turn off the light
I stared and stared at this strange sight
For then I knew that he could be mine
