For The Love Of Lucille Poem by Faith Brigham

For The Love Of Lucille

She is a pretty, pretty girl
Adored by all the neighborhood boys
She's a very tricky child
Living in her own chaotic world

She's got a bag full of tricks
Because it goes like this
She gets what she wants
Letting nothing stand in her way

Just when you think you know
What card she's gonna play
It ends up with the tables
Always turning her way

She'll ask you to
Give her everything you own
You can tell her to go away
She'll tell you she's here to stay
