Fly A Kite Poem by Lily YANG

Fly A Kite

Rating: 4.0

On a windy and sunny day,
Flying a kite near a small bay.
On the grass under blue sky,
Handing high a red dragonfly, .
Run windward with roll of string,
Not knowing the utmost of flying.

After reading many works within your overall portfolio, I am pausing to re-engage my perception of bright, concise imagist poetry and analyze my own work going forward. I really like your approach, your vision, your result. Thx.
