When we look up
to heaven
we will not discover
any God or Gods
whom we adore here.
But perhaps love
for a fellow human
being or the vastness
of the universe
arouses a great
longing in us
to arrive at the end
of our life with
body and soul
where we are
expected with
love and joy,
in the life and
light of God.
