Enemy Poem by Ramakrushna Sahu

Enemy

Rating: 5.0

Many a times
We have met each other
Perhaps in the horizons of
Some other unknown worlds
Crossing the border
With hand in hand

We played so many roles on the stage
Where darkness prevailed
We loved, we suffered together
Looked in each other eyes
The same invisible face

Sometimes we killed each other
But with no hate in hunger
Darkness forced us to ride
On each other's shoulders
To cross the line of horror.

The pure ignorance in our eyes
Were glowing as moonlight
But why this difference
In broad daylight?

We played so many roles on the stage Where darkness prevailed We loved, we suffered together Looked in each other eyes The same invisible face but why this difference in day light? a very poignant question revealing so much. thank you very much dear poet.
