Emptiness That Seeps In Poem by Sumita Jetley

Emptiness That Seeps In

Rating: 4.3

I have toiled to bring a certain standard to things,
I presume to be sticking on with them,

Emptiness might crawl at times,
Still things sound full in their own right.

Meticulous arrangement of things around us gives us satisfaction but it might not be able to forestall the grave impact of emptiness in life seeping through or loneliness. Thanks Sumita ji.

Perfectionism also brings emptiness, especially that perfectionism is never attained without labor and struggle.
