Earth Day -Stop Destroying Start Healing

Life spent avoiding what Shakespeare coined:
'The Choice and Master Spirits of the Age.'
Words, forging poet's page to create; coiled,
In corners, away from streams which rage.

Raving, like spoiled children on life's stages,
Life spent, listening to tall trees, voicing agonies:
Felled forests, disappearing beneath bridges
Killers, chopping earth's vital necessities.

Planet's breathing spaces deprived of greenness,
Seeded combustion, life's survival chances,
Nature's urge to produce needed cleanness,
Squirms, beneath noisy saws, of moneyed causes.

Stop destruction of futures' barren beds
Form laws against jungle's jaws: forest dreads!
