Dove Is A Thing I Always Sing

Rating: 4.0

Peace, peace, peace
Is a thing divine always mixed up with something amiss
As if far away from paradise
Where in you look for peace
And that you chase and chase
But are likely to end up with mirage
For it is within and not with aggression
That you will find your solution
Today it's the standoff of Doklam
Yesterday it was Arunachal and Sikkim
Tomorrow it would be Assam and others
And the chart varies according to your whims and humors
You grab land and sea
To fill in your belly
In fact with rapacious disposition
You carry on your mischievous plan
And the day is not far away
When you will claim the space and the whole sky
The moon will wail
And the mars will flee
Seeing the dragon on the rampage
I wonder what ails you to such a belligerence
Is it unilateralism or expansionism or any other ism?
That drags you to dragon-ism forgetting Buddhism
Oh Beijing, see the reality
For we are living in 21st century
When might is right is a fantasy
And nuclear warfare is a reality
Don't be dragged unto a blunder
That you will have no time to repent over
If the land you are blessed with doesn't suffice
Then earnestly do you beseech the heaven for eternal peace
Greed is what guides you to gross desire
For if no abstinence is there
The whole universe to you if gifted shall look pettier
You are becoming a dragon
To swallow everything of your friend you can count on
Forgetting one misstep means disastrous for all
So, wake up Beijing not to let differences turn a battle
Live, love and let live
For we wish to see you a leader positive
It ill-befits your dignity when you impress us as superpower
But squabble over poppies to grab land and water
For the world is not as simple as you see
That you can finish hostility so easily
So sing the song of peace
Too deep and loud to deafen this world to make it a paradise
