Double Vision Poem by Elliott Rosenberg

Double Vision

I see the truth behind the light,
That never fades against its darkness,
Colors immense with disbelief,
Draw lines that give forth vision.

As for the prism that ran away,
With hues galore that shade this earth,
A ray there was that be the wisest,
Iluminating our photo sense.

Hence, the blurriness that fog begot,
Rested with agony above my eyes,
Lifting the heaviness I press to see,
Clarity of brilliance born today.

So our focus has united,
To just cause,
and has remained,
Foreseeing the faults that sprung forth mountains,
And made the better claim.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
So happy to be back in this beautiful land of heart and soul that mirrors the sky; I
find myself laying in bed at the Americinn suites in St Paul, Minnesota glued to the contours of the matress which hug every ripple of my being. As morning hunger conquers sleep, I open my eyes in double vision to live another day.
And so I wrote this morning December 8th,2012 on the day of the imaculate Conception.
