Deep Silence
She's all alone in deep silence,
Sitting in front of the blue sea;
Thinking of times that pass her by
Under the tall coconut tree.
Remembering those days before,
Her memory recalls the things;
Precious moments of yesterday
Meditation exactly brings.
The horizon has warmed her heart,
Across the lane, clouds move up high;
The solitude to contemplate
Soothes her whole soul beneath the sky.
Each chirping bird glides in the air,
Each flying fish feels the cold wind;
They are witnessed by both her eyes,
As the small waves come without end.
It is truly lovely for her
To feed and fill her every sense;
Through the beauty of mother earth,
While she ponders in deep silence.
Sitting by the side of a sea and watching the lovely scenes in perfect solitude is indeed so joyful and calming! The salubrious breeze, the fish that leap and glide, the birds in the air.... all create such a lovely ambiance. A lovely poem and an apt image! 5 stars!
