Dear Stranger Poem by B3k Baylon

Dear Stranger

Here I am in my castle of what might-have-been s
Remembering the days when I have always dreamed,
Of better days, people & places, & of ever-after s
Memories of simple wishes & hope to never surrender

From the harsh blows of consequent storm of fate...
Silently praying for salvation, that it ain t too late
If I turn to a being, other than what I am now...
What good does it bring to the unsuspecting & how?

Will i shed tears and will i know what fear means?
Know where sadness ends, feeling and loving begins?
How does one overcome the beauty of madness...
The addiction to what s twisted in it s fullness?

Hell, i don t know where to go & don t wanna show...
The beast lurking inside, with every moment grows
Raging at the chances of being saved from damnation
It eats away all the remnants of pure determination

To overcome the curse waiting & wanting to consume,
A spirit now exhausted dancing to the dreaded tune...
Of melancholic confinement drawn in black and grey
Over a canvas of emptiness, the kind that doesn t fray
