Darren The Decorator Poem by Kelvin Rush

Darren The Decorator

Darren the decorator is three days late
The customer is angry and extremely irate
Good morning Mrs Radford how are you today
Mrs Radford doesn't say a word and coldly walks away

Darren's missed breakfast and is feeling rather faint
To add insult to injury he's forgotten the paint
He tries to sneak away through the back door
Mrs Radford sees him going she can't take anymore

I'm sorry Mrs Radford I've forgotten the paint
I've also missed breakfast and I'm feeling rather faint
Mrs Radford blows a gasket don't bother coming back
I've had as much as I can take I'm giving you the sack
