Dare To Dream Poem by Hannatu Pqrs

Dare To Dream

"Father, are the poor allowed to dream? "
"Of course son, why ever not? "
"Then I'd dream me a better life."
"Are you starving; do you need clothing? "
"No, but I wish our donkey was a horse."
"A horse does not have the patience of a donkey."
"I'd dream our small farm was a large orchard."
"But we cannot feed on only fruits."
"I'd dream I had a roomful of toys."
"Toys are lifeless; you'd easily get bored."
"I'd dream I was in a better school."
"They'd make you work harder than you'd like to."
"I'd dream you were a king; I, a prince"
"No problem son, it's only a dream! "
"Then I wish my dreams were dreams! "
"Don't despair child, but listen and learn:
Life is carefree,
With hope nestled in every uncertainty,
And although reality is never a constant consciousness,
Yet creativity comes readily and naturally too,
And so, success is almost guaranteed
For dreamers who aren't at all lazy".
