Dance On Poem by Smoky Hoss

Dance On

Rating: 5.0

fly through the ceiling
play above the rooftop,
saddle a dove with horse feathers
that never drop -
rope a cloud
and release the wind,
hug the mountain fog
and breathe it in - Dance on.
climb the highest tree
fearless be,
cross the desert bare
on a mirage of warm air - Dance on.
find faith
and deeply drink,
find your mind
and profoundly think -
swim in falling raindrops
sing restoration into being,
listen beyond hearing
and regard beyond seeing - Dance on.
look transcendence
in the face,
fear not being considered
completely out of place -
cry the world's tears
of fear and of elation,
release the captives
of time and lamentation - Dance on.
laugh the echoes
of eternal relief,
embrace the crazy wildness
of hope and belief -
consider the billions of years
this incredible universe continues to expand,
the miracle to fathom
is the inclusion of man - Dance on.
so join with everyone and everything
one to another,
singing and dancing, on and on bound together,
we the infinitely loved lovers -
