Dance Of The Dead Leaves Poem by Payal Priya

Dance Of The Dead Leaves

Rating: 5.0

The dry dead leaves,
Attached to trees.
Counting their days,
Waiting for the final fall.
But a gush of air,
And they join in a sprightly dance.
Defying the horrors of decay,
Ridiculing death -
Enjoying their last breath.
As if in a farewell party.
The dance of the dead leaves.
