Dance like a bird
With coloured feathers of imagination,
Dance like a butterfly
With fascinating wings of jubilation,
Dance like a flower
With petals of mesmerizing luminescence,
Dance like a pure soul
With unending joy of rhythmic extravagance.
A most lovely poetic creation, ! Superb imagery and sweet emotional sensations.
A great poem ---The joy and jubilation of a dancer so creatively expressed.
The poet emphasises on the joy of dancing with with similiesi n the poem aptoy written for international dance day.
I took (my mom's 'suggestion') dancing lessons with my neighbor (also my playmate) and other young teens. Our class even appeared on a local TV station's dance show. I'm more at home reading a book in a big chair. : )
extravagance: let me use THIS definition: 'excessive elaborateness of style, speech, or action.' Yes, action...as with dance. I can see, in my mind, Geeta leaping high and swooping low, bounding from one side of the stage to another, while reciting poetry.. : ))) bri
