To create the perfect poem,
One needs to follow success.
What works in other poems,
Is simply stolen to impress.
Select key words and phrases,
Like heart god love mother and tender.
Not forgetting eye of the beholder,
Then shove all in a poetry blender.
Whisk violently for ten minutes,
Till it becomes a fine paste.
Dollop it on some parchment,
This mixture of such fine taste.
Let it dry slowly overnight,
Your plagiarised poetry process.
At dawn cast your eyes on it,
As it reads a f**king mess.

Great obversation...this one made me laugh a lot! Writing good poetry requires a great deal of patience, skill and technique and one's poems need to be ' cooked' at the right temperature or else one is invariably left with a great deal of half - baked ideas. It's a take due care and diligence inspired ten from me!
