Cradle My Shadow Poem by Antonio Liao

wait me up in the deep slumber, till the breathe
i fade and bring the honey comb in the lips at time
of my thirst, knowing that i would last for a life time,
in the shadow of today

bade farewell my dear heart, the end is not to
stay for i will leave my flesh in the dust i return,
and my soul forever go on, where somewhere
loosen my fate and flew in the everlasting destiny i
am gone

laugh as you cried, shout as you sing, fade as you
grow all are just, an illusion of reality, wonder in
every path as it grows; kaleidoscopically face that
you have to witness the cradle of your shadow

never venture every journey you don't know the
way, the high ground is always blind to see, take a
look for the night keep your eyes wary and all you
can do is just pray and everything will find it’s
easy

the night has beginning to fall; the only vehicle to
reach my destination is to lost my step and trust my
feet.....then I have to go.....
