Are we all condemned or chained to the thoughts in our mind?
Which are at the expense of time.
How many minutes have you spent like Gatsby?
Of those minutes how many seconds go by…
Not even taking into account the milliseconds which fly.
Are we trapped by our vision.
Or do we allow for change and expansion?
Are we trying to slow down something which is in motion?
Why do we not deviate?
Let our minds lurk and procrastinate?
Are we afraid of what's at stake?
I say let's take the risk!
After all an exclamation is more fun than a boring asterisk.
Dear Safiyyah, a thought provoking poem on the fun side of life. I think, yes, only I, the mind is in perpertual motion. Not aware of chewing up time as it rolls along.++++10 Robert
I agree with your comment this time! Yes sometimes we can be very unaware of our time spent.

I would like to translate this poem
An amazing reflection on man's status-quoits approach to life. The treatment given to the subject has philosophical undertones. Thank you, Safiyyah.
I was trying for the philosophical undertones, i have been told i sound a bit philosophical with my words sometimes. It is something new I'm trying to strengthen or make more prominent.
