Climate Change Ii Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Climate Change Ii

Rating: 5.0

There is a hush
Except for the sound of patter of rain
On the pavement
The darkness causes us not to venture outside
We both despise the rain, but perfer it to snow
As we'll be the first to complain about the snow storm
And every year, they say it's the worst in years
Though, sometimes, it's a laugh
They say it would be a warm winter
Almost summer like
This is a result of climate change
It will do us in if we don't lift a finger to stop it

Climate change is a fact. It is also a fact that it is man-induced. It is time, rather high-time, we stopped to think what will be the condition of our earth that we hand over to our next generation. A most pertinent question, an eye-opener is raised by LeeAnn very powerfully. Top score.
