Clasp my heart
To your sleeves
Rather then
Suffocate me
In your heart
Do not
Chain my spirit
To satisfy your
Male haughtiness.

I agree with your Thoughtful views expressed under Poet's Notes and feel very bad after reading your poem. Women in this part of the world, by and large, have not been treated as equals due to 'Male haughtiness' which is too prevalent in the society. Thanks for sharing.
I concur with your thought in this beautiful composition, Aarzoo.
I appreciate the voice of this straightforward write...5 stars
This is all because of False EGO, Like two wheels, they run parallel to each other on the path of this life. The so called " Society" drew a line of control between the two. Kabhi na kabhi ye duriyan khatm ho jayegi, khul jayega pinjra panchi udd jayega gagan me... Another thought provoking poem.
Beautiful poem, dear Aarzoo. Absolutely! Love is about giving space and freedom. You cannot hold people so tight that it is difficult to breathe. A poem effectively presented with few words.........10

Very true words. Love is all about growing together not about suffocating but to give space.
