Clapping (87) Poem by VAIDYANATHAN.T. RAM

Clapping (87)

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes, somewhere, somehow,
Clapping is a joy.
Sometimes, somewhere, somehow,
Clapping is a motivation.
Sometimes, somewhere, somehow,
Clapping is a vibration.
Sometimes, somewhere, somehow,
Clapping is a appreciation.
Sometimes, somewhere, somehow,
Clapping is a inspiration.
Sometimes, somewhere, somehow,
Clapping is like a musical instrument.
Sometimes, somewhere, somehow,
Clapping is a vibration of devotion.
Sometimes, somewhere, somehow,
Clapping is to call someone.
Sometimes, somewhere, somehow,
Clapping is likea exercise to smile.

Clapping is an expression of joy. When something appeals to you and brings happiness - you clap. Specially for a performing artiste, after a performance when the auditorium is filled with the sound of claps, the performer feels elated. A rare poem that appreciates the vibrant sound of claps. Ram, i really liked this poem for the rarity of the subject and its elaboration........A full score of 10 for you.

Use 'a' before words that start with a consonant sound and 'an' before words that start with a vowel sound***. Just remember it is the sound that governs whether you use a or an, not the actual first letter of the word. *** for example: appreciation, inspiration, and exercise. and i wonder why you have two lines mentioning vibration. but it's an interesting poem on a mundane subject: 'the various uses of clapping '. clap, clap, clap! bri :)

Clap, Clap, Clap! i learned (in general, if not always) to use an, not a, in front of words beginning with a vowel [a, e.i.o.u]. but here is a more clear explanation from online: Use a before words that start with a consonant sound and an before words that start with a vowel sound. Just remember it is the sound that governs whether you use a or an, not the actual first letter of the word. So use an in front of appreciation, inspiration, & exercise. (cont.)
