We're board today, not much to do.
Can't go outside: no point in shoes.
We're stuck indoors, we're feeling blue,
The dog's asleep, and daddy too,
If only there was something new.
I know! let's make some chocolate stew! !
Chocolate stew? That sounds delicious.
But will mom think it's nutritious?
She always lets us have our wishes,
As long as we do all the dishes
We'll find the bars and chocolate eggs,
Cholate bunnies (with chocolate legs)
Chocolate squares and hearts and chips
Chocolate airplanes! Chocolate ships!
Chocolate in all shapes and sizes,
Chocolate no one recognizes:
Maybe a statue, maybe a hat.
Silly, chocolate doesn't come like that.
Well, grab the fudge, I'll get the pot
Get to the stove, watch out, it's hot
Throw in all the stuff we got
Why this will make us quite a lot
Our stew soon boils chocolate bubbles
Uh oh, maybe we're in trouble.
We didn't realize what we did
Our stew blew up the pot and lid.
And now our kitchen is a mess
And we'll be grounded soon, unless
We clean it quick. But nonetheless
At least we're not so board, I guess.
