Chant Of A Interloper Poem by Julio 2 Amarante

Chant Of A Interloper

You'll rain on me

You'll intrude in my broken harmony
Although you're incapable of sight,
Unworthy of trust, you, evil charm,
Argue against evidence of scarcity
Calling it the will of the Almighty,

You'll rain on me in the name of family

Yet not sure what is just and proper
Your opinions of me as an interloper,
Your intrusion in the name of love
Caused pain and rain up there above
Where energy of human spirit strife
Where lost lovers rejoice and reunite.

Your orthodoxy and paroxysm
Will go through you in the abyss
No contention, full lack of bliss

I, just flawed, incomplete
Never pretended to be more
A distorted deposit, a jinx lore.

Although pointed and pinned
I never have the hypothesis of sin,
Facing a force, archaic and mean.

The end is nigh, the Raven high
The sky plunged, crying shadow
Fallen high hopes, Broken arrow.
