Can She Be The One For Me Poem by Larry Perry Sr

Can She Be The One For Me

I was doing fine all by myself not thinking at all of no one else and then came you across my way

Made me take a double take, another look I took of you as you pass my way, sending me sailing to the point of effectuation

A wiser poor man grows rich by seening, the extravagant in a woman that helps him grow rich, but seeming to be poor in other's eyes

Only to realize, stands right before your very own eyes at arms width, to be able to reach out to hold her close

With a glow in her eyes that sparkled liked the midnight star's and spoken in a voice of pure passion

Not in my wildest dreams, I could have ever imagined such a diamond would come my way

Now that you are here I'm asking you to stay a while let me get to know you and you get to know me

I can see how ignorant I've must have been, to close myself off by thinking that such a rare black diamond really did not exist

There will never be a conclusion to what can be for us and in others mind and eyes it will be an allusion

If we ever by chance get lost from each other on our hearts will be a identification tag, showing the ownership of our heart and where to return it to

It will read, caution for who ever fine this tag on this lost heart, please return it as soon as possible, for if not return in time the heart that it belongs to will die with a broken heart
