Burnt Fingers (Limerick) Poem by Stephen Harris

Burnt Fingers (Limerick)

Rating: 5.0

A lad who skipped science at school
Charred his fingers while handling hot fuel
For he wanted to know
If coals burned when aglow
Cried Eureka! Then dived in a pool
