My Simple Dream
Fifteen years ago, suddenly rain falling
I run hastily, I smile when I bump to your side
Thankful, found a shelter to keep me dry.

Standing outside, irresistible smells calling my attention
Suddenly I place my hand in my both pocket
How sad, to find I have only 20 peso bill

Four years pass you by, nothing change
Sometimes, I stop for a while, with sadness in my eyes
Dreaming, someday to dine with you sometimes

My cravings lead me to dream, yes a simple dream
To dine with you and never be an outsider again
And hoping my cravings will end soon….

Now, I'm here, smiling happily, sitting confidently
While devouring the taste of Yummy Mc Burger
Taste that brings me again to my old memories.

Those memories remind me for all those cravings
Memories worth to remember, because it always reminds me,
The taste of my success in fulfilling this simple dream.
