You took my sanity from me
You poisoned me with all your hate
All your sadness, all you pain
Emotionally, physically tormented

Stripped away my innocence from me
To young to understand
What was stolen from me
Crippled by what you have done to me

Now, the child is grown your old and dying
I never found or knew such comfort
To feel the relief of freedom
As I watch you lie there and die

To have you forever out of my life
But it doesn't change the past
Even in death you will still haunt my mind
I will carry the disturbing memories for all time
