Boy❤
...you still continue to amaze me
You are the one who showed me
What love does mean.
Being your mom
Is what I'm most proud to be
It's the only thing
That even matters to me
You have always been the one for me
You, my son, are all I need.

The minute you were born to me
I finally felt my heart complete
That seems like yesterday...
You've grown so fast
It's hard to believe
That 4 years have passed.

Such precious years, always,
That I think and believe
If I could turn back time
I'd want you, here, close to me
Boy❤ I always want our time back
There's no denying loves depth
Yet seeing who you are becoming
Is where the real reward is at.

You truly impress me
Every single day
From the songs, that you make up
To the funniest things you say.

Son❤ you simply just blow me away
You are my favorite human being
That I've ever met
I can't even try
To compare you to all the rest
Babe, I'm so very lucky
That you, my boy❤
Really are, the Best!

Happy 4th Birthday!
Love,
Mommy

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Absofaith and Gecko,
(Inspired by your handmade Birthday cards to your son, mommy, with love)

Teddy's going long board surfing in the ocean, on a pink longboard...and pink unicorns with silver stars, on yellow cards, hold messages of love and hearts...it's your birthday! Heartstrings connect us through blessings of Grace, bring us back, Lord, to that childlike place.
Where dreams come true and we would still believe, that happiness could be a gift, not achieved...Help us trust You like a child, untouched our innocence, silly gone wild! © Love Genice Lorraine
