Blood Moon

Rating: 4.0

Blood moon,
Blood in the moon
And moon in the blood
And also blood moon
Are not one and the same.

See the moon and say
O my dear, is it a sign
Of fatal events
Are we on this earth
Going towards change.

Who is competent to explain
Please come forward
At this dead night and
Say a few words about you
Before going to the moon.

Why to fear my dear,
We should not get worry
About moon, whether it is
Dark or light, red or yellow
We should go with us as we are.

Come to the nature and
Supply me with a bucket of
Drinking water in this tide-time
Come on with some food
To enable me to fill up my belly and live.

Congratulations Gajanan ji! Blood Moon is a thought provoking poem! Life is hard but nature has its soothing effect on man. Drinking water is the need of the day!

Red moon'- - - -Who is competent to explain Please come forward And this dead night and say a few words about you Before going to the moon'- - Blood moon, blood in the moon and moon in the blood are not the same.'They are understood differently.Scientists, philosophers, writer or poets who discuss red moon should come forward and explain whether this change is good for common man who is currently worried with getting pure drinking water or dying with food scarcity? Thanks for sharing a marvelous poem and congratulations for being poet of the day.

There are superstitions galore about heavenly bodies. The poet has done well to discredit all such theories that have been part of our folklore or mythology. Thanks. I quote: Come... with.... Drinking water.... with some food To enable me to fill up my belly and live.

Very original thoughts about the role of the moon in our lives. You are right: we should not worry about the moon: the moon is a force for goodness. M. Walker.
