Black Gloom

Gloomy days bring back sad memories
Sombre the mood
What was once, full of flaming fire
Dampened black ash
Sparked by rain
Spurred by the lightening flash
Heart split asunder again
Never again whole
Left one giant gaping tear
No stitches can repair
