Bhajan, the divine song of God do I need,
Hail thee and to praise thee for thy being pure.
Another poetess laureate Sarajini Naidu wast like thee,
Rapturous spirit thou owest, , a sweet singing goddess,
Amaranthine bower thou art with dewy sprout,
Teemed with symphony deep,
Inner being full of elemental hymn.
New poem thou sing with new pain and passion,
Always stand upright like the Sun in the skies,
Years after years thou makest us enlightened,
Ailing spirits become fresh in thy poetic lagoon,
Kinship strong do I feel when go through thy rhapsody.
