Bed Cover Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Bed Cover

Bed cover

This morning I woke up
-woke into what would not
-come to me if I had amnesia

I recalled what I had
-on dirty, filthy mind
-when going to sleep

Had had sex and lied down
-both naked, after job
-she must've had too much…

I turned to my right side
-observed her in peace, calm

And smiled
And smiled
And smiled

My trick was paying
-her skin seemed giraffe's
-or puma's or cheetah's
-soft, cream and in times
-Diwali; colourful with spots…

In fact, she was hidden
-underneath the bed sheet
- (Purchase was intended.)

Geometry and knitting special
-its holes were square; stretched
-and if not, half-closed, half-open

Parts of her visible
-parts hidden
-best of all her nipple
-sneaky; and peeking
-questioning:
- "Was she well? "

I bought it for such days! ! !
