Beauty's Curse Poem by Bill Cantrell

Beauty's Curse

You were blessed with such a beauty,
I read it in an ancient scroll
The gods all fought to win you love,
Yet, you would never be controlled
You fell in love with mortal man,
It's toll was a heavy curse
They turned you into an ocean grand,
Held only by the grains of sand
