Beauty Poem by Tondana Fatimah Seebaway

Beauty

Rating: 5.0

Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder
A platitude yet you should ponder
A beauty not just on the outside
But a beauty as well on the inside

A beauty that transcends the self
And whose actions speak for itself
And like light takes away darkness
This beauty takes away sadness
And life is filled with happiness

A beauty as peaceful as nature
A beauty that you can nurture
In consultation do go with your maker
And receive this flawless favour
For nothing is impossible by the creator

A beauty that does not waver
A beauty that lasts forever
A beauty that is very kind
And a blessing to the whole of mankind
A true beauty to uphold
And this beauty you firmly hold

A THING OF BEAUTY IS A JOY FOR EVER - John Keats. A lovely poem, well articulated and beautifully written to capture the essence of beauty and the poet's convictions. It's a nice piece of poetry, thanks for sharing and do keep it up. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
