Be Still Poem by Trevor Schulte

Be Still

When the sunsets gone
and it seems like nothings alive
All my dreams are fading
beneath the dark skies
Every hope that is in me
is looking for something more
As I watch my anticipations
hitting the floor
You stand
with Your arms open wide
Waiting for me to join You
at Your side
You whisper
'Don't worry, the pain is gone,
I will hold you until
you reach your new dawn.
Your heart, pain and worries,
will no longer fill.
Just hush my child
and be still.'
