Awaiting The Spring Light Poem by Dillian Hansen

Awaiting The Spring Light

I'm awaiting the spring light
The tension of winter is growing tight
Foggy grey rays
Drawing out my days
But springs thoughts are growing bright

School work is getting tough
And lately I've had enough
But I can her the distant rings
I'm awaiting the spring birds sing
Plz unshackle my frozen cuffs

Let the snow melt away
And bring shiny warm days
I want to bask in the sun
Run free and have fun
Weatherman what do you say?

Soon ill sit by the river
Remember the things this year has differed
But for now ill just remember
The springs I beforehave endeavored
Waiting for mother nature to deliver.
