Pour mes étudiants
Brightened faces, teary eyes,
Confused minds and
Sorrows of hearts buried
Deep within these
Beguiling smiles.
Smiles broaden, concealing pains;
Under garbs of overwhelming joys.
Besides grins, relishes and
Charms of masked merriment, they
Stand together,
With a hope to travel
New roads
Together,
To behold a future bright;
Which comes
But often
With fear of separation.
Let not, then, this fear
Abash the eternal drive,
For life is a game-
A self-imposed test.
Whatever goes
Must return, for closure.
