Atomic War Poem by Ellen Ni Bheachain

War!
The final ending of where diplomats failed to agree,
War!
The final decision when generals decide,
How and when they will attack,
When nation to nation break the rules,
Wanting to take over and control,
Or suppress the people that live therein,

And what comes from this are grave situations,
For it is always the civilians that suffer most.
Victims first,
Brings in the armed forces,
To defend and free,
Those, that being oppressed and held down,

Suppressed by these nations,
That will not allow freedom,
To where the peoples cry out for help,
And NATO sanctions are being broken,
Left, right and center,

War can break out from controlling people,
Or other nations who control their resources,
People suppressed will eventually cry out,
To bring in nations with freedom and independence,
Yet, that freedom comes with a price,
Of destruction, devastion and deaths of the peoples,

When all is done,
And this new liberated nation,
Now must start again,
Building and repairing what was once a city or town,
Now just in ruin and bomb stricken
This now becomes a struggle,
But for freedom ii is worth it,

Fighting for freedom
Causes so many lives,
Leaving their cities and towns in ruin and desolation,
Yet above it all the people still cry freedom,
Besides the wants and needs of the people,
They know freedom will soon reign,

When war breaks out,
And all is done,
Soldiers will stay and guard these borders,
Give the country time to rebuild,
And while that happens the new nation change,
For the soldiers bring with them their culture and ways,
That the newfound nation simulates in ways,
Which brings the formation of old and new?
To a new development of a new state and nation,

Then there is the war,
Caused by,
The disputes of control,
That takes the war far above the skies,
To surpass the satellite nets,
That control the atomic switch,
Held by space nations with the controls at a a switch,

To cause a nuclear war,
Please God/Creator forbid that should ever be ordered,
To activate nuclear weapons and set them on a nation,
Means we have not learnt from what happened,
In Hiroshima and Nagasaki,

With a nuclear war that is activated by nuclear waves,
Far, far above our blue skies,
Set by radio transmissions
And frequency controls
Of nuclear fusion,
by a man-made nuclear atom,

Mercury and patens,
Designed to activate,
The nuclear physics of atomic bombs,
Atomic War!
The war of wars,
Please God/Creator forbid it ever happens.
