At Last I Fall Poem by Phil Soar

At Last I Fall

So many times relationships have come and gone
I’ve lost more times than I can recollect
But then my openness was my undoing
And all I got was just what I expect

But now you’re here, my past is just a phase
At last I’ve fallen for someone who cares
No longer is my future just a misty haze
At last I fall, and expect no further scares

A big mesage in a few well chosen words. Openess/honesty is often viewed, these days, as a sign of weakness. Relationships/marriage can be such a gamble. I wish you all the best with your new love.

Falling for the wrong person is the worst thing to happen to someone But finding the right one is the best thing to happen to someone The one who saw the worst can cherish the best, more than anyone else
